Is Jessica Simpson Calling Off Her Engagement?

Jessica Simpson's ex-husband Nick Lachey may have remarried earlier this year, but she's apparently in no hurry to follow him down the aisle. The singer-turned-fashion maven is reportedly stalling on her wedding plans with fiancé Eric Johnson. According to Us Weekly, Simpson, 30, hasn't set a date yet for the big day, even though it has been over 10 months since Johnson, 32, popped the question. And new reports say she's hit pause on all wedding plans. "Everything is up in the air," a source tells Us. "She can't figure out what kind of day she wants. Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home." But the big question isn't just what style of wedding Simpson wants the second time around, it's whether she is possibly calling off the engagement altogether. Simpson and Johnson, an NFL free agent, started dating in May 2010 and announced their engagement last November. "She was so gung ho about planning their wedding, and now she's gone dark," says a pal. "She won't commit to a date." On top of all this wedding-date intrigue the duo is being plagued with pregnancy rumors. In Touch even published an article stating that Simpson does have bun in the oven.
