"Grey's Anatomy" Musical Event Details
Switching things up a bit, the cast of ?Grey?s Anatomy? will debut a special treat to viewers later tonight (March 31). After seven years in the making, the medical drama will air its heavily hyped episode, centering on Tony-winner Sara Ramirez's Callie Torres, who experiences her surgery following a near-death car crash through such songs as Brandi Carlile's "The Story" and Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars." Ramirez said this about the timing of show's vocal event: " Shonda Rhimes and the writers toyed with the idea of having Callie sing spontaneously in a scene , and I'm kind of relieved that it never happened before, because it just didn't make sense to me for her character to just sing out of nowhere." As for what to expect? Grey's Jessica Capshaw divulged to press, " get the idea of us in scrubs, snapping our fingers down a hallway like West Side Story, but that's not what it's like at all. We had the read-through and people were blown away -- there were tears and goose bumps. By the end of it, all of us were like 'I hope it's fantastic, I think it's fantastic!'" Lady Gaga To Direct 'Judas' Video With Laurieann Gibson
During Google fan interview, the pop star also talks about Born This Way cut inspired by the death of her grandfather.By James Dinh Lady Gaga Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage As promised, Lady Gaga joined forces with Google on Tuesday to answer a string of fan-generated questions for an hour-long interview posted on YouTube called "Musicians@Google Presents: Google Goes Gaga." While the pop star dished on a range of topics, including her upcoming album, Born This Way, and aspiring-singers-turned-viral-YouTube stars (yes, she mentioned Rebecca Black), the most exciting news she shared with her fans was that she'll be directing the video for her next single, "Judas," alongside creative director Laurieann Gibson. "I'm very excited. Actually, I can exclusively reveal here at Google that I will be making my directorial debut with Laurieann Gibson, directing this video with her ourselves," the singer said to the cheers of the interview's live audience. Keeping in line with the song's title, Mother Monster also admitted that the clip will include religious imagery. "It's no surprise, I'm sure, to many of you, that Judas is a man of the biblical senses, so expect to see some symbolism in this video," she said. Gaga also gave fans a taste of the club track's lyrics by offering a few lines from the song. "When he comes to me, I am ready/ I'll wash his feet with my hair if he needs/ Forgive him when his tongue lies through his brain/ Even after three times, he betrays me/ I'll bring him down, a king with no crown," she recited. Gaga explained that "Judas," which she produced along with RedOne, talks about confronting one's demons. "You have to look into what is haunting you and you need to look into forgiving yourself in order to move on," she said. "And it's really fun to dance to and sounds like it could be a pop priest record." She also described a track off her "avant-garde techno rock" LP called "Edge of Glory." Recalling the loss of her grandfather last year, Gaga revealed that she wrote the tune at an emotional moment at the piano while taking tequila shots with her father. "The song's about your last moment on Earth, the moment of truth. The edge of glory is that moment right before you leave the Earth," she said. Usher 'Got A Good Laugh' From Fan Kicking Him In The Face

When the singer touched down in New York on Monday, he indulged a super amped fan's fantasy by pulling her onstage for an intimate flirty serenade of "Trading Places." As Usher and the concertgoer got cozy on a recliner, she swiveled around to face the crooner — knocking him squarely in his mug with her foot. She began apologizing profusely as Usher briefly paused to collect himself. But the superstar took the strike in stride, quipping, "We play rough in the bed. We kick each other in the face and all type of good stuff." Although Usher brushed off the blow, the moment did make an impression on him. "In all my years, this is one of the most interesting experiences. I got a kick out of it!" he told Us Weekly. The singer assured fans that the knock wasn't that bad. "It looked worse than it actually was. My audience and I got a good laugh." As for the fan, the "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" star maintained everything is all good on that front too. "Wherever you are baby, don't feel bad," Usher said. "No hard feelings." As Miguel has noted, Usher isn't one dwell on drama, whether it's cranking out another hit album or weathering an unexpected hit from a fan. "He's such a tremendous example of perseverance and determination," Miguel recently told MTV News. But the reality star says that body image has always been a touchy subject for her and her famous sisters. "Kim and Kourtney have said to me, 'If we were put under the same negative attention that you are, we couldn't handle it.' If I want to wear a long flowing dress, someone will say I'm pregnant," the Khloe & Lamar star tells the mag. "I believe we're not given any more than we can handle and most of the time I can handle it. But we all have fat days and if I'm having one of those days, those sorts of things make me feel down." Her set list was similar to the one she followed just days earlier at a Las Vegas performance at the Palms Casino. Fans will get to see her show when it airs Tuesday on "GMA" — the same day her Femme Fatale album drops — but the ones who were lucky enough to catch her on Sunday couldn't stop gushing about how "amazing" Brit was. "So I totally loved how her bustier was lit up," Corina Andrati excitedly told MTV News moments after Spears wrapped her three-song set. "I'm so blessed to be here, and it's all about San Francisco." Sarah added that Spears was as good as she was when her debut album dropped more than a decade ago. "It was amazing," she gushed. "It was so hot! We live here in the city, and she was sexier than ever and I'd go lesbian for her. She really blew it up." "It was amazing," José added. "My favorite song was 'Till the World Ends' and I love the album and she's rocking it." Randi Florence will now always remember her first-ever concert-going experience as a Britney Spears show. "We loved the show," Florence said. "It was my very first concert. I loved Britney. She's so amazing." Sasha Yung shared her biggest highlight from the show. "I liked the last song, ," she told us. "I liked the wind blowing through her hair and I loved her scandalous outfit." Thomas loved that he's one of the first to experience hearing a new Femme Fatale track live. "I have to say the premiere of 'Big Fat Bass' ," he said. "It was an amazing song and I loved the way she has it choreographed. It was stunning for me. I flew all the way from Alaska to go to this show, so I was inspired. It was awesome." "It was freakin' sick, honestly," Monica said. "She's hot and everyone who hates on her: whatevs! She's hella hot!" Bottom line for Alicia is that Britney proved once again that she's a true performer. "Great costumes! She looks better than ever," she said. "She can put on a show. 'Source Code' Requires A 'Leap Of Faith,' Director Says
Duncan Jones says if moviegoers can suspend disbelief, they'll 'go with it and enjoy the ride.'By Kara Warner Michelle Monaghan and Jake Gyllenhaal in "Source Code" Photo: Summit Entertainment In most cases, when we travel to the theater or sit down to watch movies, we're looking to be swept up by a great story, transported to other realms and just plain entertained. In doing so, however, there is an element of suspended disbelief that both filmmakers and audiences alike rely on in order to fully immerse themselves in a story. And while the upcoming thriller "Source Code" is based in present-day reality, there are several elements that draw on the sci-fi and fantastical genres and, as such, rely on the audience to suspend disbelief a bit. When MTV News caught up with director Duncan Jones recently, we asked him to explain his strategy for presenting audiences with challenging ideas without making them too convoluted or confusing. "Ben Ripley wrote the script, and I thought it was terrific," Jones said. "I thought, 'There are some heady ideas here,' and I think he's done a really good job of balancing what the audience needs to know and giving the audience enough rules that if you just invite them to take a leap of faith you'll go with it and you can enjoy the ride." Jones went on to say that the one element they added to Ripley's story of traveling into people's brains during the last eight minutes of their lives was humor. "I think one of the things we were able to do is lighten the tone, inject some humor into it so the audience is able to make that leap of faith and say, 'I understand you, I trust these rules you've set up, let's just see how the story goes.' 'Sucker Punch' Cheat Sheet: Everything You Need To Know
Before you check out Zack Snyder's action-packed flick, learn how it came to be.By Kara Warner Emily Browning in "Sucker Punch" Photo: Warner Bros./ Legendary Pictures Way back in October 2008, amid the buzz surrounding Zack Snyder's big-screen adaptation of "Watchmen," news broke about plans for his next project, an original screenplay penned by Snyder and Steve Shibuya called "Sucker Punch," billed simply as "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns." For Snyder's devoted fanbase, that descriptor was enough to set minds speculating and Internets buzzing for well over two years. Naturally, MTV News has been following the project from conception to opening day Friday (March 25). Here's everything you need to know about "Sucker Punch": First, in addition to the "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns" tease, the initial logline announced that the plot revolved around "a young girl institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility." In March 2009, an all-female cast was announced, with several of Hollywood's most in-demand ingénues attached. Not too long after that, Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone and Evan Rachel Wood bowed out and Emily Browning, Jamie Chung and Jena Malone stepped in. From then on, the principal cast was set, with just a few additions to come (including Carla Gugino and Jon Hamm), and the film production was on its way. There wasn't much news to report until early 2010 when, amid the post-"Avatar" 3-D craze, Warner Bros. announced that "Sucker Punch" would be converted to 3-D, which excited star Vanessa Hudgens at the time, until a few months later, Snyder spoke out about his reservations on the subject. It seems Snyder's concerns were heard, because the studio changed its mind. Cut to San Diego Comic-Con 2010, when Snyder dazzled fans with a teaser trailer (which later debuted online, with tons of intense analysis) during the film's panel. Shortly thereafter, the lovely leading ladies stopped by the MTV News shooting suite to discuss their intense training for the film. After the Comic-Con chaos, fans had to wait a few months to see more teasers, in the form of a second trailer (which MTV Movies Blog named one of the year's best) that dropped in November 2010 and a collection of character posters. MTV Movies Blog kicked off the New Year with a preview piece in which we named "Sucker Punch" one of the most anticipated films of the year, and shortly after that, the promotional machine kicked into high gear. Throughout the film's opening month, March 2011, we received news of an online animated movie intended as an offshoot or short companion piece to the film, called "The Trenches." Also over on Movies Blog, we rolled out "patient files" on all the lead characters: Amber, Rocket, Sweet Pea and Blondie. MTV News also reconnected with everyone to discuss the cast's thoughts on their character's most outrageous moments and Snyder's explanation about where the idea for the movie came from. Over a decade after production on the first "Harry Potter" began, the final film hits theaters in July, and as J.K. Rowling promised Daniel Radcliffe, she's not going to write more books about the boy wizard. That's fine by Radcliffe, who has joked on many an occasion that he's ready to leave the franchise behind, not least because there'd be something unseemly about playing Harry as the actor approached middle age. But he's not done with "Potter" yet. There's still the upcoming press tour for the second part of "Deathly Hallows," which will require Radcliffe to step away from his new Broadway musical, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," for a few days. And, as he told MTV News recently, transitioning from one show-business world to another is going to be strange. "In a way, it will probably be weird to suddenly have to switch out of the mode I'm in for this show and then go and do press," he said, adding with a laugh, "But I can do that. I'm very versatile!" Being able to jump from performing to plugging and back again, Radcliffe added, simply comes with the territory. "I think any actor that does a big film or even a show like this now without the expectation that they will have to do press for it is very naive," he said. "It's part of the job. Britney Spears, Ryan Seacrest To Host Wango Tango Festival
Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez will perform at annual KIIS-FM Los Angeles festival.By James Dinh Britney Spears Photo: Max Morse/Getty Images It's nearing that time of year when the hottest acts in music come together to take the stage for 102.7 KIIS-FM's Wango Tango in Los Angeles. On Monday (March 28), Ryan Seacrest took to his morning radio show to announce that he and Britney Spears will co-host the annual music fest, which will feature performances from Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez. Other acts scheduled for the concert event include Pitbull, Far East Movement, Jason DeRulo, Lupe Fiasco, T-Pain, New Boys and Cobra Starship. YouTube sensation Cody Simpson will round out the star-studded performance roster. While Spears may just be hitting the stage as special guest co-host, the "Hold It Against Me" singer, coming off of hot weekend shows in Las Vegas and San Francisco, is no stranger to the Wango Tango stage. When her career was just taking off in 1999, the pop star performed at the annual festival and returned a few years later in 2001 to guest-host the festivities. Tickets for Wango Tango 2011, which takes place May 14 at the Staples Center, go on sale to KISS Club VIPs on Friday, April 1, and to the general public on Saturday, April 2. Fans may also want to keep an eye on the hit radio station's Facebook page, where they revealed they will be giving away meet-and-greet passes for Ke$ha. Them Crooked Vultures make their debut with a post-Lollapalooza set.By James Montgomery Dave Grohl (file) Photo: Jewel Samad/AFP/Getty Images Officially, Lollapalooza ended Sunday night in Chicago's Grant Park, with dueling sets from the Killers and Jane's Addiction. Unofficially, it ended very early Monday morning, across town at venerable rock club the Metro, with a surprise show by Them Crooked Vultures. To the unfamiliar, the Vultures might seem like an odd choice to close out Lolla weekend ... until you realize that they're made up of Foo Fighters frontman/ former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, Queens of the Stone Age mastermind Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin legend John Paul Jones. And their gig at the Metro was their world premiere. According to some reports, the Vultures actually turned down Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell's request to replace the Beastie Boys as headliners at the festival, opting to debut in front of some 1,100 super-psyched fans at the Metro, rather than 75,000 in Grant Park (tickets for the gig were announced via Foo Fighter/ QOTSA fan clubs). Meaning that, in a lot of ways, this was the most sought-after ticket in town. Taking the stage just after midnight, the Vultures — Grohl on drums (of course), Homme on guitar and vocals, Jones on bass and keys and frequent QOTSA contributor Alain Johannes on guitar — ripped through 12 songs in 80 minutes, all taken from their upcoming debut, which may or may not be called Never Deserved the Future, and may or may not be hitting stores on October 23 (early "promo" videos touting both those facts were revealed over the weekend to be hoaxes perpetrated by QOTSA fans). The songs, with appropriately Homme-ian titles like "Scumbag Blues," "Mind Eraser (No Chaser)," "Caligulove" and "Interlude w/Ludes," sounded pretty much how you'd expect, given the band's pedigree. They rocked, hard — Chicago Tribune critic Greg Kot described them as "fresh, invigorating and just plain nasty" — delving off into psychedelic, reverb-filled excursions and exploring proggy territory, "both of the old-school Yes variety, and the more modern Tool flavor," according to the Chicago Sun-Times' Jim DeRogatis. It's not known if Monday's Metro performance was a one-off event for the Vultures — there have been whispers of a full-blown tour, but a spokesperson for Homme had not responded to MTV News' request for comment at press time. Nor was it clear whether or not they'll have an album out in October. Early Monday, a Crooked Vultures Twitter account, which had previously posted links to the band's official-looking Web site and the Metro's online ticketing site — posted a link to what appears to be the group's first bit of official merchandise: a Deserve the Future T-shirt. 'Diary Of Facebook' Shines Light On Site's Inspirational Stories
'Diary of Facebook' premieres tonight at 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.By Eric Ditzian Facebook consumer-marketing employee Erin Photo: MTV News & Docs From San Francisco to Sudan, Facebook users have been sharing stories of hope and inspiration with each other. No two accounts are the same, but they all share one thing: Stories.Facebook.com, the social-networking site's effort to highlight its users' life-changing tales. During MTV's "Diary of Facebook" — airing tonight at 11 p.m. ET/PT — viewers will go inside the company's endeavor and hear directly from a handful of users with truly incredible stories. "This is a really great outlet where people can share how the site has affected their lives," says Erin, a consumer-marketing employee at Facebook and a driving force behind the effort. "We all kind of rally together and celebrate around things like that ... by flying out a ton of people from all over the country to show them how thankful we are for sharing their story. Our engineers here at Facebook don't know it, but they're going to get an opportunity to meet all of our guests." Among those guests is a woman named Holly, who received a reminder from a Facebook friend to conduct a breast self-examination, only to discover she, indeed, had a lump — one that would later be diagnosed as breast cancer. "Facebook saved my life," the cancer survivor says. There's Sgt. Dale Sweetnam, who speaks eloquently about the way Facebook allows soldiers to connect with family members, no matter where in the world they're stationed. And there's Tracy, a woman who was put up for adoption as an infant and tracked down her biological siblings through the site. "I promised myself I wasn't going to cry," she says as she meets her brother and sister for the first time. "Diary of Facebook" will bring viewers not only these stories, but unique peeks at the company as a whole, from founder Mark Zuckerberg's insights about the business' culture and evolution to a fly-on-the-wall look at its famous "hack-a-thons". It's during a hack-a-thon on "Diary" that a technical engineer at Facebook named Pedram, who usually spends his days assuring users have safe online experiences, gets to ditch his regular work duties and attempt to build a groundbreaking application in just 24 hours. "Hack-a-thons are this awesome part of our culture," Zuckerberg says. "Every month or two, everyone stays up all night just experimenting with things and building things quickly. And the only rule is that you're not allowed to work on the same thing that your day job is." This is Facebook like you've never seen it before — an all-access pass inside the company's headquarters in Palo Alto, California. 'Sucker Punch' Stars Take A Journey 'Into Zack Snyder's Mind'

After months and months of buzz, rumors and hype, Zack Snyder's "Sucker Punch" is finally about to drop in theaters. MTV News has been on this film's case from day one and recently had the opportunity to catch up with the cast and director for a few in-depth chats. First up, the lovely leading ladies addressed the film's most outrageous moments. "I think, for me, when we're on the B-25 bomber plane and we're being chased by a dragon and I'm shooting at it," said Vanessa Hudgens, who plays Blondie. "It's pretty intense." "I got to do this really fun green-screen moment where I was being lowered upside down on a harness 40 feet in the air," Jena Malone, a.k.a. Rocket in the film, explained. "I had to clear out my mag on my UMP while I was shooting all these robots that I was doing a double-flip over in the middle of a bullet train." Jamie Chung, who plays Amber, added that part of the fun of working with green screen, particularly a scene in Mecca, was being able to use your imagination. When asked what she pulled from or where she went to prepare for those moments, Chung said she looked to her director. "Into Zack Snyder's mind," she said. "That was the place that I went." Emily Browning (Baby Doll) and Abbie Cornish (Sweet Pea) also touted the fight or "dance" sequences as the most unbelievable. "My favorite thing to watch with my character is probably the first fight scene in Samurai world," Browning said. "People have said to me, 'Oh, so were you just standing there and there was a green screen and they made you look like you were jumping?' I said, 'No, I was on wires the whole time' jumping up and doing crazy things. We did almost a month of wirework at the end of the film. That's pretty cool to see. It's almost like a character in a video game or something." "I definitely do love a lot of the fighting stuff," Cornish said. "For me the process of filming 'World War I' was incredible, because we all had solo action pieces so we got to indulge in those action pieces." Cornish pointed out Snyder's use of high-speed cameras that were used to slow certain movements and make them stand out more onscreen. "I love the moments where you see Vanessa's character flip her tomahawk and then that awesome throw that she does," she said. "And when Jenna flips her gun in slow motion, I love that stuff." Bus admitted he doesn't know much about the project, but in a nod to both sides — Tip and the doc's producers — he urged that the story be fair above everything else. He called the emergence of Tribe a milestone in hip-hop that should be treated accordingly. "I don't really know what to think about it yet 'cause I haven't seen it," he told Mixtape Daily when we caught up with him on Lil Wayne's I Am Still Music Tour stop in New York. "But the fact that a movie house and Michael Rapaport and just all the people involved, from a creative, production and executive standpoint , I commend them all. But I hope they represented my people right. Tribe are my brothers, they're a milestone in hip-hop when they first came out and they're a milestone still and they will forever be a milestone. One thing that's the most important about Tribe to me is that the music they made is timeless. Even though those records that we classify as timeless or from the 'golden era' came out years ago, that boom-bap is unprecedented to this day. "A lot of times when people get the opportunity to dig deep in the good and bad, for the excitement and novelty, they like to capitalize on created as a result of highlighting the negative over the positive," Busta explained, alluding to the documentary filmmaking process. "I hope that's something that's not a reality in this situation. I just want to see — good or bad — that there's a fair balance shining the light on the existence and legacy of Tribe." Although members of the group have spoken out publicly against doc director Rapaport, alleging business misconduct on his part, Q-Tip and company urged fans to see the completed "Beats, Rhymes and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest." "I encourage everybody still to see this film," Tip told MTV News earlier this month. "Not only because it's about us, but it's really about the hip-hop movement, man. It really, really is, that's on everything. It's a celebration not only of Tribe, but of the culture. Of what goes into making records: the ups, the downs, the switching of the times. It's a beautiful story about hip-hop. He really did a great job, and I commend him for it, still. He really did an amazing job." Britney Spears Says 'Till The World Ends' Has 'Good Energy'

The chugging, Ke$ha-penned club banger is all about getting your dance on. And when Spears stopped by Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Friday (March 4), she admitted that the song just felt right for her as soon as she heard it. " 'Till the World Ends' is fun! It's fun. I like it. It's good energy," she said of the track, which was produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Billboard. "I'm a vibe person, and I think I love good-mood songs, and if it puts me in a good mood, it clicks for me." As for the album, which already spawned a chart-topping single, "Hold It Against Me," she teased, "I think it's my best work yet. I listened to it on the way over here. It's definitely something you want to work out to. ... And I'm a dancer, so it's definitely something I can work with." "Oh my God! Will.i.am is amazing," Spears said of the producer, who teased the track "The Big Fat Bass" recently. "He's so much fun and he's funny and he's a charm. His music is so much fun. When they told me I was going to be working with him, I couldn't wait. If it gets you going, you get excited, and he has that type of energy." In addition to talking about the album, Spears also shared plans for a summer tour. And she talked about how she's keeping in shape these days as she amps up to promote the album, which drops March 29. "I have a trainer. on the treadmill for 30 minutes and we do a lot of cardio, running," she explained. "He kicks my butt. You pay to hate your trainer!" It seems that the workout regimen has also had an effect on her beau, talent agent Jason Trawick, who, according to Seacrest, was "pudgy" before he hooked up with the pop star. Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Suit Vs. AEG Can Proceed, Judge Rules
Katherine Jackson and family are pursuing a claim against concert promoter.By Gil Kaufman Michael Jackson When he was alive, Michael Jackson was forever embroiled in a series of complex and expensive-sounding lawsuits. But even in death, the late King of Pop is the subject of major legal action. None could potentially be bigger than the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the pop icon's mother, Katherine Jackson, against concert promotion giant AEG Live. Reuters reported that a Los Angeles judge ruled on Wednesday that the civil lawsuit can go forward. It will proceed in parallel with the criminal case against Jackson's physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with Jackson's June 2009 death from an overdose of the powerful surgical anesthetic propofol. Murray is the only person charged in Jackson's death and he is currently awaiting trial in that matter. Katherine Jackson's lawsuit — filed in September on behalf of her and Jackson's three young children — accuses AEG of being responsible for the medical decisions made by Murray, whose salary was paid by the touring company behind Jackson's attempted "This Is It" comeback shows in London. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos denied a motion on Wednesday by AEG to dismiss Katherine Jackson's suit, but warned Jackson's attorneys that they would need to show evidence of "fraud, negligent infliction of emotional distress and civil conspiracy" in order to win the case. The judge has already said she doubts they can prove the latter charge, because the suit does not detail any agreement between Murray and AEG to break the law in providing medical care to Jackson. "If the object was to get him to rehearsals, I don't see that as a wrongful or illegal act," the judge said. A lawyer for AEG told the judge that the company could not have predicted beforehand that Murray's medical decisions would result in Jackson's death. Court papers also show that AEG "did not choose to hire Murray" and had only participated in negotiations to bring him on as an independent contractor. Michael, who had previously been treated by Murray in Las Vegas, was reportedly the one who suggested the cardiologist serve as his personal, on-call physician during the "This Is It" rehearsals and shows. Katherine Jackson's attorney recently dropped choreographer Kenny Ortega from the lawsuit based on new information they received about his actions. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for March 22, just six days before Murray is due back in court for his trial. Jackson's father, Joseph, has twice attempted to file a wrongful death suit in the matter, though his is focused on Murray and the Las Vegas pharmacy that supplied the propofol, not AEG Live. Actually, though, Ferrell recently told Us Weekly that it's "looking good" for him to step into the job on a permanent basis. While remaining vague, Ferrell told Entertainment Weekly pretty much the same thing. "Yes, I'm taking over," Ferrel said. "My character's name is Deangelo Vickers, he loves the American Southwest, and he's just kind of in his own way going to step into Michael Scott's shoes and try to fill them. I'm friends with Steve and a fan of the show, and I just selfishly wanted to do one episode with him, and they pitched multiple ones, and I said, 'That'd be great.'" When EW asked if that meant his stint on the show was going to be permanent, he responded, "Yeah, a regular full-time gig." While an insider tells EW that Ferrell "might have been joking, but time will tell" the decision for Will to tackle a full-time TV gig wouldn't be so far-fetched. Ferrell has three little boys (two of whom are now school-aged) with his wife, Viveca Paulin. A sitcom job would allow him to cut back on the traveling that's often required for films and spend more time with his family. Plus, Will is certainly not strapped for money right now. Robert Plant And Alison Krauss Win Grammy Album Of The Year

"In the old days we would have called this selling out, but it's a good way to spend a Sunday." He was probably one of the few who were surprised, because Raising Sand, which won five trophies at Sunday night's show, is in many ways the perfect Grammy album. It features two respected veterans, a critically lauded producer, some sandpaper-and-velvet vocals and a baker's dozen of time-tested standards. You're probably familiar with Robert Plant from his Led Zeppelin days, and you might be aware of producer T-Bone Burnett's work on the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack (it won the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2002). And if you don't know who Alison Krauss is, she possesses a haunting set of pipes and is one of the meanest fiddle players in the world. Oh, and she's won 21 Grammys, more than any other female artist and the seventh-most in history. Really, she's the key to Sand's success, and not just because of her voice (or her fiddle playing). She and Plant first met in 2004, at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tribute to legendary bluesman Leadbelly, and the former Zeppelin man was amazed by her knowledge of American Roots music — so much so that they began kicking around the idea of recording an album together. Three years later, Sand was released. And while Plant possesses the more famous voice, the album's finest moments radiate from Krauss. Whether she's getting bluesy on Little Milton's "Let Your Loss Be Your Lesson" or entwining with Plant's husky voice on songs like "Please Read the Letter" and Roly Salley's winsome "Killing the Blues," she more than carries her end of the bargain. And perhaps that's also due to producer Burnett, who handpicked the 13 songs the duo cover on Sand. His arrangements are sparse — giving the two voices ample room to breathe — yet dense, warm and crackling at the same time. It's a testament to his work that he's often given just as much billing as Plant and Krauss on the project ... and it's certainly justified. To date, Sand has sold more than 1 million copies, heaped tons of acclaim and actually earned a Grammy last year — "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)" took home the award for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals. One expert was surprised not by the album's success, but by the fact that it's actually quite a good album. "At first, the album seemed like a vanity project. ... Two names, clearly a one-off record, didn't have to be any good, you know?" New York Times music critic Jon Caramanica said. "Led Zeppelin fans would buy it because of Robert Plant, Alison Krauss would get a check. But it actually turned out to be a really thoughtful, really good record. So when you combine all that with the fact that the Grammys love to lionize one of their own, I could really see it taking home some awards." On Tuesday, the pop titan took to YouTube to post a video message inviting her Little Monsters to ask her questions in an upcoming Google interview. Standing against a brick wall, Gaga greets her fans in the beginning of the black-and-white video, saying, "Hello, Little Monsters. This is Lady Gaga on the road at the Monster Ball. I wanted to let you in on the news that I'll be doing an exclusive Google interview using one of their tools called the moderator, which allows you guys to ask me all the questions that you want. "Do you have something that you always wanted to know about me or maybe you have questions about my fashion love or even the kind of things I search for on Google. Well, now is your chance!" she continues in the clip. Fans can participate in the interview by heading to the singer's YouTube channel and submitting videos or written questions. While on the singer's page, they can also vote for the questions they want to hear the most. In addition to the video network, fans can tweet their questions using the hashtag #GoogleGoesGaga. Fans have until the end of the day Friday to submit their entries. "I'll post the video interview with all my questions next week, so stay tuned. Beyonce To Star In Clint Eastwood's 'A Star Is Born' Remake

According to Deadline, Knowles will star in a remake of "A Star Is Born," to be directed and produced by Oscar winner Clint Eastwood for Warner Bros. The remake will be the fourth telling of the "A Star Is Born" tale, the most memorable in recent years being the 1976 version with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson as star-crossed lovers of sorts. It is also worth mentioning that the producers of that film, Billy Gerber and Jon Peters, are also attached to this new project. It is said to be a full-on musical with production set to begin sometime in the fall. Naturally, the plot details are under wraps, but the original story revolves around an aspiring singer who meets and falls in love with a troubled, failing former star who helps get the young ingénue her big break in the business. No announcements have been made with regard to the male lead, but the report mentioned that major names like Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Hamm have been floated around. It's definitely an interesting step for Knowles but not necessarily a surprise, given the fact that the majority of her film roles have been as singers ("Cadillac Records," "Dreamgirls," "The Fighting Temptations"). While many thought "Dreamgirls" would bring awards recognition for Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson's supporting role ended up garnering the most attention. Details surrounding the singer's next album remain scarce, but according to a few of the project's collaborators, Bey is almost finished recording the follow-up to 2008's I Am ... Sasha Fierce and has managed to hit the studio with an extensive list of producers. After gushing about her high hopes for working with Beyoncé, Australian songstress Sia revealed that she told B's behind-the-scenes team that she wanted to lend a creative hand for the new album. "So I just said to all the producers, writers, everyone, help me make this happen, and then Diplo e-mailed me and said, 'where are you in the world right now? would you be interested in flying to New York? I'm writing with Beyoncé,' and I was like, 'Yesss!' " the singer told MTV Australia. Despite Diplo's offer, Sia said she was unable to fly out because of schedule conflicts, but is in the process of pitching songs to Beyoncé. When asked if her submissions were for Beyoncé's forthcoming LP, Sia said, "Well, there's only one song left for this album, so I probably won't get on this album, but hopefully the next one. That's my dream, that's my goal." Sia isn't the only collaborator that has suggested Beyoncé is close to wrapping up studio sessions for the project. Sleigh Bells have confirmed working with the singer, but are weary on whether their work with the songstress will make the final cut. Speaking with NME.com, guitarist Derek Miller admitted, "I actually have no idea if the collaboration will ever be released." While Miller remained tight-lipped on details regarding the song (or songs?), the Sleigh Bells bandmate confessed that the collabo is just one of her many musical partnerships, saying, "Beyoncé works with whoever she wants to work with, probably 30 or 40 producers. It's a totally different world from what I'm used to. So for me, it's just exciting to hear something that I worked on but I can't really say any more than that." Sia and the Sleigh Bells join a long list of other collaborators who have been tapped to work on Beyoncé's new album, including Ne-Yo, S1, Jim Jonsin, Sean "The Pen" Garrett, The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. 'Sucker Punch' DVD Will Include R-Rated Footage, Zack Snyder Says

In addition to our catch-all guide to the film and secrets revealed, today we bring you more from Snyder regarding the highly technical aspects of the shoot, as well as what fans can expect on the DVD and Blu-ray. "The train sequences were the hardest technically to shoot only because it's a sequence that's broken up into maybe 120 shots that look like one shot," Snyder revealed. "So you just kind of have to know where the camera's going and where it came from, and put these little camera moves in, and all these shifts that have to happen," he said. Snyder went on to say that he and his filmmaking team had the same sort of problems with the Samurai fight sequence, but they approached them differently. "It was a little easier to do, but the thing that challenged us there was, of course, the scale was crazy," he said. "Ryan, who's one of my stuntmen, he would stand on a big piece of scaffolding and he would fight Emily with this long stick," he explained. "Because she had to have an eye line to him up there. So he had this kind of flexible stick that he would try to hit her with." Will we see any of that behind-the-scenes footage on the DVD? "Yeah, sure," he said. "I think there is coverage of that." Regarding what else will appear on the home-video-viewing versions of the film, Snyder teased that there will be a lot of action. "There is about 18 minutes in the Blu-ray that is mostly action, because the MPAA was not ... a little too much action," he said, adding that taking the film from an R-rating to PG-13 was also a challenge. "I would say that the very things that they didn't like were the very things that you needed to see in order for you to understand the content of the scene," he said. Lil Wayne Renews His Love For New York At Long Island Shows

He's been tearing up venues across the country in the days that followed, but there was something sentimental about his two nights of sold-out shows at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum. After all, just a few months ago, a little more than 20 miles away, Wayne was doing hard time at Rikers Island, serving a one-year prison sentence on weapons charges stemming from the 2007 arrest that followed his show at New York's Beacon Theatre. On Monday night, Wayne exchanged the 8-foot cell he was housed in at the Eric M. Taylor Center for a hockey arena and thanked fans for their support during his down time. "A few months ago, I was stuck in this island," Wayne told the audience. "This place called Rikers Island. It was people like Drake and people like y'all who made me feel like I was in a paradise of love. Shout out to the COs I'm cool with, but tell the warden to kiss my ass." But in reality, Weezy showed no signs of bitterness toward the state he unwillingly called home for the majority of 2010. The larger-than-life MC appeared onstage sporting a blue and orange New York Knicks cap, his signature polo shirt and black leather pants. Wayne closed out his New York run backed by a live band, unearthing a catalog of smash hits including "Mrs. Officer," "Go DJ" and "Got Money" as well as mixtape cuts such as "I'm Single" and "Bill Gates." With appearances by Lil Twist, Mack Maine, Shanell and Nicki Minaj, Weezy continued to make the point that his Young Money movement was reminiscent of previous rap powerhouse cliques who made their marks in the hip-hop game. "Remember how Diddy had his artists? And Jay had Roc-a-fella, and Baby had all his artists?" Wayne asked. "Well, I have all my artists." Halfway through his set, Wayne introduced Minaj, and the Queens MC ripped through her own records for her hometown crowd. Nicki ignited the audience with hits "Roman's Revenge" to "Did It on 'Em" to the celebratory "Right Through Me" anthem, for which she donned a wedding dress. And as she assisted Wayne on "Roger That" he appeared to be stunned by Nicki's tight, ripped-up jeans. "Make some noise for the best rapper aliiive," Nicki yelled at the crowd, referring to Wayne as she exited the stage. "Make some noise for them pants!" Wayne shot back. Preceeding Wayne's set, Rick Ross also ignited the coliseum with his array of hits and a surprise guest appearance by close friend DJ Khaled, who joined him for "We Takin' Over." Khaled also showed his New York support wearing a New York Yankees clubhouse jacket. The show had emotional moments in between songs too. Wayne took time to send prayers for earthquake victims in Japan and acknowledged members of the military in the audience who came out to support the MC in their uniforms. "We got a couple soldiers in here; make some noise for these men," Wayne said, removing his tinted shades as the house lights spotlighted the warriors. On the night of his arrest years ago, Weezy vowed to never return to the Big Apple. But judging by the diamond-studded grin he flashed throughout the night as the crowd chanted "Weezy's Home," it's a safe assumption that the MC was happy to be back in New York. "New York always showed us love," said Birdman, sitting in his tour bus following the show. "It was just unfortunate he had to come out here and do time. But the people always showed us mad love. New York is probably one of our biggest markets. They always supported us, and we always showed them love." Chris Cornell Filling In For Robert Plant On Led Zeppelin Tour? That's News To Him
'I have not been approached to fill in for Robert Plant on the Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be,' singer says.By Chris Harris Chris Cornell Photo: MTV News Former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell has spoken out for the first time about rumors that he's been asked to fill in for Robert Plant on a proposed Led Zeppelin reunion tour. The trek would feature original guitarist Jimmy Page, original bassist John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham taking over on drums for his late father, John Bonham. Cornell has been mentioned — along with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar, White Stripes mastermind Jack White and Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy — as a potential Plant fill-in. Plant has already said that he wouldn't take part in the tour. "I have not been approached so far to fill in for Robert Plant on the upcoming Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be," Cornell told MTV News. "I've heard that from about 200 people now, and it might be one of those situations where it's just an online rumor or it might be true. But if you see anyone from Led Zeppelin around, let me know. I think I should actually fill in for Jimmy Page on the Robert Plant/ Alison Krauss tour." Cornell's denial comes just a day after Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford confirmed reports that frontman Steven Tyler recently met with Zeppelin for an impromptu jam session. "They did it for fun," Whitford said during an appearance on the syndicated show "Todd N Tyler Radio Empire." "I actually think Jimmy wanted Steven to come over and play a little bit because I think he was trying to light a fire under Robert." Rumors of a Zeppelin reunion tour have abounded since the iconic band played a single reunion set last year at London's O2 Arena. Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider added fuel to the fire last month when he revealed that the group was thinking of touring, with or without Plant. According to Snider, the rest of the band told Plant, " 'We're all rehearsed, we're ready to go. Here's a gazillion dollars on the table. If you don't do it, we're going out with this kid .' " "And he can sing the sh-- out of Zeppelin," Snider added. "They're going to hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in." In a recent interview, Jones told BBC Radio Devon that a new singer was being sought to take over for Plant. "We are trying out a couple of singers," he said. "We want to do it. It's sounding great, and we want to get on and get out there." But Jones insists that he, Page and Bonham aren't interested in finding a Plant clone. "It's got to be right," he said. "There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band. There would be a record and a tour, but everyone has to be onboard." Of course, even if Zeppelin were to approach him, Cornell might be too busy to take over vocals for the band. His upcoming Timbaland-produced solo LP, Scream, will be released within the next few months. Cornell told MTV News last month that some of his fans might consider Scream something of a departure, but he doesn't see it that way. "It makes me happy that there's this perception that I have a group of fans that I'm now sort of throwing a curve at and what their reaction will be," he said. "But I've been in this situation so many times already. When I put out Euphoria Morning, my main goal was to create an album that sounded like nothing I'd done in Soundgarden, and I did that. I also had that with Temple of the Dog, where I showed up with songs that weren't necessarily riff-based. And then, of course, the pairing of me and members of Rage Against the Machine had everyone sort of speculating about what that would sound like. "It feels like I've done this so many times that when it's presented to me as being a departure, I feel that's a misconception," he added. "I feel like that's my theme at this point." Drummer admits he doesn't know what will come of 'new material.'By Chris Harris Jason Bonham Photo: Larry Marano/ Getty Images On Friday morning, mere hours before he was due to take the stage with classic rockers Foreigner at Detroit's GM Renaissance Center, drummer Jason Bonham — the son of late Led Zeppelin kitman John Bonham — told Jim Johnson and Lynne Woodison of local rock station 94.7 WCSX that he'd be an ex-member of Foreigner as of September 1. But that's not the only thing he said. Much to the delight of Led Zeppelin fans everywhere, Bonham revealed that he's been meeting up with Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones in recent months and that they've been "trying to do some new material and writing." It was the first time since Led Zeppelin announced they would re-form for a single performance (which happened late last year at London's O2 Arena, in honor of the late Ahmet Ertegün, who signed the band to Atlantic Records in 1969) that anyone connected to the band has confirmed publicly that new music could be on the horizon for the iconic rockers. While the bandmembers have stopped short of definitively ruling out such a reunion, singer Robert Plant insisted in the wake of last year's show that he intended to focus on promoting and touring behind his critically lauded album with bluegrass artist Alison Krauss, Raising Sand. Not that Bonham knows what — if anything — will happen with the new material he's been working on with Page (who collaborated with pop singer Leona Lewis on an uneven version of Zep's "Whole Lotta Love" at the Olympic closing ceremonies in Beijing on Sunday night) and Jones. He said he just shows up and takes his seat behind the kit. "I've been over a couple of times," Bonham said. "I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do ... some new material and some writing. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something. At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material. When I get there, I never ask any questions. If I get a phone call to go and play, I enjoy every moment of it. Whatever it ends up as, to ever get a chance to jam with two people like that, it is a phenomenal thing for me. It's my life. It's what I've dreamed about doing." He said it's still too early to tell what will become of these "jam" sessions, but admitted that the "possibility of doing something is in the cards. I really felt it was in the cards from the moment we walked offstage at the O2." Bonham also explained that, before there could be a Led Zep LP, "lots of politics get ironed out," but added that recording with Zep is "something I've always wanted to do." Bonham noticeably didn't mention frontman Plant's name during the discussion. A spokesperson for Page's management had no comment on the matter, and a spokesperson for Jones' management could not be reached by press time. Perez Hilton Reveals Birthday Wishes For Lady Gaga, Anti-Bullying

The 33-year-old blogger, who celebrated in grand Hollywood fashion on Saturday night at a Sunset Boulevard studio in Los Angeles, says that if he has his way, two things will come to pass: Lady Gaga's Born This Way will be a super hot-selling album and teen bullying will cease. "My birthday wish for this year is for Lady Gaga's new album, Born This Way, to sell over 1.2 million copies the first week," he said, pausing to give off a mock-sinister laugh. "That would beat Taylor Swift's 1.1-something!" That was actually the only kind-of-mean thing the notorious blogger said at his Blue Ball Birthday Bash on Saturday. And it could be the last. Perez said he has cleaned up his act, largely due to the teen bullying that's been well-documented over the past year. "When there was that rash of gay teenagers committing suicide last year, and the bullying that is still going on, I was so moved. So moved that I changed how I operate on my website. When it came time to do my birthday, the idea came to me to raise money for charity and, of course, I wanted it to be a LBGT organization. And of course it was important for to work with one for young people," he told MTV News. So what does that kind of change mean? For starters, it means Perez may not have to duck celebrities anymore. He's been trying to stick to the facts, he said, and do less of the ad-libs like drawing on their paparazzi photographs. He also opened up about how he apologized to Jennifer Aniston for how he treated her over the years on his blog. "The great thing about being the new and more positive Perez is that I, hopefully, will be having less awkward, uncomfortable, negative confrontations with people," he said. "But hey, I'm a big boy. Chuckie Will Debut Michael Jackson Remix In Miami

With Miami Music Week now upon us, Chuckie plans to seize the opportunity to debut new material. Fans will be tickled to know the Dutch producer has tracks in the can with Kelly Rowland and T-Pain, but when MTV News caught up with him Friday in New York, Chuckie shared the achievement of which he's most proud. "I did a Michael Jackson remix, which was really scary — to touch Michael Jackson vocals," Chuckie said. "I did this remix for this track 'Hollywood Tonight.' I couldn't say it for a minute: The label called me, and they said, 'You can't say nothing about this. It's kind of a secret project.' It's gonna come out anytime now." "Hollywood Tonight" was originally produced by Teddy Riley for Jackson's posthumous Michael album, and Chuckie's mix of the song will be the sole official remix of the track. "I will play it Miami," Chuckie revealed. "I told them this is the best week to launch the remix. So it feels really good. I'm the only one remixing that Michael Jackson track, and they are considering it a single. For me, especially, it's an honor to remix the King of Pop because he died on my birthday." So, will the mix be a thundering Chuckie Dutch house banger or will it have a melodic progressive house feel, like his Marquee remix of Diddy-Dirty Money's "I Hate That You Love Me"? Well, according to the "Let the Bass Kick" producer, fans will be getting a healthy dose of both. "I had to bring in the raucous," Chuckie confessed. "Yeah, I did the Chuckie flavor, but then again, I wanted to make it really musical, so I went progressive (house) on it." Chuckie will be performing twice at Miami Music Week: at the Cr2 Records Party at Wall Lounge on Wednesday, and then headlining "No Sugar Added" at Nikki Beach on Friday. Katy Perry's Boob-Baring Outfits Traumatize Her Preacher Mother
Katy Perry's preacher mother wants her daughter to join the family business. Mary Perry Hudson, who raised Perry in a conservative Christian home, is shopping around a book proposal about her life with her pop-star daughter. In the book proposal obtained by Page Six, Hudson expresses her wish for Katy to preach the word of the Lord, rather than the gospel of "California Gurls." "I recognized the psalmist gift in her performance," writes Hudson about attending one of her daughter's concerts. "Yet she sang out, 'I kissed a girl, and I liked it,' while thousands joined her. One part of my heart soared... the other part broke for the thousands of hungry souls being fed something that didn't nourish their spirit, but fed their flesh." And speaking of flesh, Katy's mom is also unhappy with the amount that Perry shows her fans when she's on stage. In a passage about being backstage with her daughter, Hudson recalls her horror at Perry's skimpy costumes. "Katy stepped out from behind the changing doors in a tiny risqué costume. No mother wants to see the top of her daughter's boobs," recalls Hudson. "My first instinct was to order her back behind those doors and demand she put something else on... However, I had no problem letting my eyebrows say what I wouldn't allow my mouth to utter." Hudson says she envisioned Perry being a charismatic preacher, even a faith healer who cures the sick (now that would be worth the price of a concert ticket!). She writes that she has prayed over her daughter's stardom, saying: "Oh, dear God, how can I save her from all this? The money, the fame, the network, the people surrounding her, how can I compete?" Hudson compares her relationship with Katy to that of Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, or Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie: parents whose famous children don't live by their conservative Christian values. Yet Katy's situation is a little different, in that she actually did start out as a Christian artist (back when she was going by Katy Hudson). Perry still has "Jesus" tattooed on her wrist, and while she's made fun of her strict upbringing in the press, she has also been very protective and respectful of her parents' beliefs. 'Captain America' Trailer: Five Cool Moments
Take a closer look at the super-soldier as we break down the upcoming action movie's first full trailer.By Eric Ditzian Chris Evans and cast in the "Captain America: The First Avenger" trailer Photo: Marvel Before becoming the engineered superhero called Captain America, Steve Rogers attempts to join the Army five times in five cities, only to be rejected for being a pipsqueak with a ton of heart but not nearly big enough biceps. In a similar series of false starts, we've been treated to a slew of teasers for "Captain America: The First Avenger," from a 30-second Super Bowl spot to a bunch of seconds-long video snippets parceled out over the last few days. Now, finally, we're getting a shot of cinematic super-serum with the Marvel adaptation's first full trailer. Here are our picks for the five coolest moments: The Shield ... Kinda Here we see Rogers (Chris Evans) in pre-conversion twerp mode. Chased into an alley, he attempts to defend himself with a trashcan lid — a none-too-subtle nod to the red-white-and-blue shield he'll soon wield as the Captain. Sure, he's a scrawny fellow, but he's brave. And as Dr. Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci) will tell Steve before transforming him into a superhero, "A weak man knows the value of strength, knows the value of power." In terms of historical context, this shot also gives us a glimpse of around when the story begins. A poster in the alley shows the date: May 29, 1943. Meet Your Super-Serum So it's that goopy blue stuff that transforms Rogers into a super-solider. We see Erskine in the laboratory, as well as Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), who just so happens to be the father of a certain iron-suited hero played in other Marvel movies by Robert Downey Jr. The serum doesn't look that pleasant going in, but what a difference it makes: Rogers goes from zero to world-saving hero. Captain Action Listen, it's hard out there for a super-solider. Even when an Army colonel (Tommy Lee Jones) is driving at top speed in a convertible and the Captain looks like he's about to jump out and whup some Nazi butt, he pauses for a little smooch from Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). Pimp! Army of the Damned Check them out in all their blue-glowing glory: the HYDRA army controlled by Red Skull (Hugo Weaving), Hitler's head honcho of weaponry and general evilness. It's these soldiers who will face off against the Captain and his crew with the fate of the world in the balance. The Boys We'd sleep easier knowing this collection of dudes — Captain America and the much-hyped Howling Commandos — is protecting the nation. In addition to the Captain, you've got sidekick Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Union Jack (JJ Field) and Dum Dum Dungan (Neal McDonough). That's a hero shot if we've ever seen one. "It's an amazing costume," Evans told us last year of his look. "Given the fact that his costume is red, white and blue, and it's tight, and it could be kind of flash and over the top — and given the fact that the movie takes place in the '40s and '50s — they've done a really good job of making it look really cool." Chris Brown Recalls Making Justin Bieber 'Kind Of Mad'

On the new album, Brown has some choice features from stars such as Lil Wayne, Tyga, Ludacris and Justin Bieber. "Working with Wayne is always incredible," said Brown, whose "Beautiful People" video premiered Tuesday on MTV's "The Seven." "I've had Wayne on every single album I've done. ... Being able to work with these guys is incredible. I build most of my collaborations off of just the relationships that I've built with these guys over the years and then new relationships, like Justin Bieber." Brown told MTV News that it was awesome getting Bieber on board for "Next 2 You." Brown became interested in featuring the teen star on his album after the duo worked on the remix to Bieber's track "Up," which was featured on Never Say Never - The Remixes. "Being able to collab with was great," Brown said. "He's a young, energetic cat, so being able to work with him, with the fanbase he has, was incredible. I know a lot of little girls are going to love this record. "I wouldn't say my protégé. He's doing his thing at a young age, and I was doing mine at a young age, so being able to see him come up is dope." Brown explained that the two of them didn't quite get into the studio together, however. "I actually stood him up on accident," Brown recalled. "He was kind of mad ... I was all the way on the other side of town handling some business, 'girl business,' and I was rushing back, and by that time, he's like, 'Man, I'm leaving, bro. I did it — just check it out.'
