Jessica Beagley, Former Dr. Phil Patient, Convicted of Child Abuse

Jessica Beagley has been convicted of child abuse by an Alaskan jury. The 36-year old mother of six was featured on an episode of Dr. Phil, during which viewers were shown a video that depicted and/or explained all the way she disciplined her son, 7. Among them: jumping jacks until exhaustion, cold showers and the forced imbibing of hot sauce. Beagley was found guilty today of a misdemeanor and could face a year in prison.
