Soul legend Gladys Knight has been chosen to perform on the fabled Apollo Theatre’s first float at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Midnight Train to Georgia singer, 75, who was inducted into the Apollo’s Hall of Fame in 2006, will sing festive tunes during the three-mile, three-hour New York parade on Thursday.
