Lady Gaga Goes Green in NYC
She rarely gets a moment to rest, but a green-haired Lady Gaga was spotted enjoying a little leisure time while greeting fans as she ran errands in New York City on Sunday (July 31). The Big Apple outing comes as the "You and I" singer is prepping for yet another television appearance - as she'll be gracing the stage tomorrow (August 1) on the daytime talk show "The View". Meanwhile, Gaga's enormously successful career continues to push forth in full throttle - as she most recently announced plans to release a coffee-table book on November 22. According to a press release, the 25-year-old's upcoming bookshelf offering will feature over 350 pictures of her taken over the past year by well-known photographer Terry Richardson. Mother Monster announced on Thursday that she will be releasing a hefty coffee-table book on November 22 featuring more than 350 pictures of her taken over the past year by controversial fashion photographer Terry Richardson. According to Publishers Weekly, "Lady Gaga" will feature never-before-scene images of the singer taken during a 10-month period in which Richardson followed Gaga on the road, in the studio and everywhere in between as he was given complete access to her everyday life. The pictures range from the Lollapalooza festival in August 2010 to the final shows of this year's Monster Ball. See photos of what Lady Gaga may be up to in her new book! Gaga will write the foreword, and Jamie Raab, executive vice president and publisher of Grand Central Publishing, which is issuing the book, said in a statement, "We are proud to be publishing this remarkable collaboration between Lady Gaga and Terry Richardson and anticipate that it will be one of the most stunning, provocative and coveted books of the 2011 holiday season." A limited edition of the book will be released next year. Some of the images Richardson has been taking of Gaga over the past year have already raised eyebrows. Richardson, who is known for his provocative, often explicit images, took some topless shots of the singer in February for a Supreme ad as well as the instant classic shots of Gaga draped in a bikini version of her infamous raw-meat dress for the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan, which also featured shots of her male alter ego, Jo Calderone. He also collaborated with Gaga for the May issue of Harper's Bazaar, in which he captured her on all fours in just fishnets, a nude bra and white boots on top of a mirror-covered piano. Emma Roberts & Chord Overstreet's Carousel of Love
Taking their romance for a ride, Emma Roberts and her beau of a couple weeks Chord Overstreet were spotted spending time together at the 14th Annual Super Saturday Event, in Watermill, New York yesterday (July 30). The 20-year-old "Scream 4" actress and the 22-year-old "Glee," hunk couldn't stop smiling as they took to a high-flying carnival ride, laughing and chatting as the attraction swung them round and round. Celebrity Quote of the Week: Hugh Hefner
For Hugh Hefner, it seems as if this week has been a battle of he said, she said between the girlie mag founder and his runaway bride, Crystal Harris. One particular quote of his made our Celebrity Quote of the Week column, but first, let’s recap a bit, shall we? Last month, just five days before Hefner and Harris were to say their ‘I do’s', Crystal bailed on her wedding to Hef, which was scheduled for June 18th. She claimed she was having second thoughts and things were moving too fast for her. The lifestyle Hef maintains at the mansion was not something Harris was keen of either. Um, come on. Everyone knows that this is how Hef lives. That should not have come as any surprise to Harris and for her to think that he was going to be a one woman man once they wed is well, naïve on her part. So fast forward to earlier this week, when the playmate appeared on Howard Stern’s Sirius Satellite radio show and basically revealed a bit too much.
